Building on the insights and relationships developed through the Aspen-Nicholas Water Forum, the Aspen National Water Strategy Initiative advances a coordinated vision for U.S. water governance.

Co-led with Duke University’s Nicholas Institute and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, the Initiative convenes research, dialogue, and cross-sector collaboration across critical areas including policy, emerging technologies, conservation, water security, and financial trends. The Aspen Water Strategy Group plays a central role in identifying priority issues and articulating core principles to inform a comprehensive national water strategy.

Together, this work supports decision-makers with the ideas, evidence, and frameworks needed to strengthen water systems and improve resilience across the United States.
