Drinking Water Data for the Nation: Version 1.0 Release

Loading Events

All Americans deserve access to safe, reliable, and affordable drinking water. But making that access into a national reality means untangling a complex web of interdependent factors—including crucial, but often fragmented, water data.

That’s why EPIC is launching a new web-based platform: the National Drinking Water Dataset + Explorer Tool (Version 1.0). This effort is part of the Digital Service for the Planet (DSP) initiative.

This innovative tool harmonizes data across sources and scales—integrating 30 state and national datasets with 100+ variables— allowing policymakers, technical assistance providers and funders, advocates, researchers, utilities, and communities to access and use vital drinking water data to improve environmental and public health outcomes.
