SUMMARY:Piloting a Digital Service  for the Planet
DESCRIPTION:Join us for Piloting a Digital Service for the Planet\, a dialogue kicking off a new collaboration between New America’s Technology and Democracy programs and New Practice Lab\, and the Environmental Policy Innovation Center (EPIC). This exciting partnership aims to change how government uses technology and data to accelerate environmental progress.  \nThe event will convene leaders working at the intersection of public interest technology\, environmental policy\, and data to hear from the inaugural cohort of Digital Service for the Planet (DSP) Fellows. This interdisciplinary group of fellows is made up of technologists and former public servants who will drive the work of this collaboration in the months ahead. \nIncubated in EPIC’s Technology team\, DSP Fellows will prototype a new digital services model and strategies for improving how we build and manage environmental data and technology across sectors. They’ll start with three priorities that live at the nexus of climate and public health: our drinking water\, wetlands\, and forests. \nJoin us to hear directly from DSP Fellows about this exciting work and learn more about how you can get involved.
